about UCR Extension's classes, programs and procedures. Here
are some of those FAQs and answers. If you still have questions after

Q: How do I get to the Extension
Center?
A: The UCR Extension Center is located
at 1200 University Avenue in Riverside (directions
and parking information). Classes are also offered
at other locations.
Q: How do I get a class refund?
A: Submit a refund request in writing to Student
Services. For details on Extension's refund policy,
see Refunds on
our Policies page.
Q: My class is over. How and
when do I receive my grade?
A: Grades are automatically mailed after Student
Services receives grade reports from instructors,
usually within two weeks after the last class meeting.
If for any reason a student does not receive a grade
report, he or she may request a copy from the Student
Services desk: (951) 827-4105 or (800) 442-4990 or
e-mail register@ucx.ucr.edu.
Q: How do I request my transcript?
A: To obtain a transcript of work taken through
University Extension, Riverside, or a confirmation
of current or previous enrollment, submit a signed
request as follows:

Q: Do I need a parking permit
for a one- or two-day class?
A: Parking regulations are in effect seven days
a week on all University of California property.
See Extension's parking
policy for more information.
Q: I've already paid for a
parking permit. How do I get it?
A: On or before the first day of class, pick up
the permit at the Student Services desk.
Q: I got a parking ticket and
I don't think I should have to pay it. What do I do?
A: Fill out
a parking appeal form.
Q: Where can I buy the textbook
required for my class?
A: Unless specified, Extension no longer has a preferred provider or bookstore for required texts. We now provide you with the text title and the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) to help you shop competitively for texts.
Q: Can I study in the classroom
before class begins?
A: Extension's policy is to open classrooms 20
minutes before classes begin. Students may study
in the first floor Student Lounge.
Q: When should I enroll in my class?
A: Early enrollment is advised to ensure a place in the class. Enrollments are processed in the order received and must be accompanied by the full fee, or by VISA or MasterCard charge.
