1. How long does it take to complete the program?
Each course is offered one time per year. It will take about 15-18 months to complete the program.
2. Is there any order that I must take courses?
There is no particular sequence required. You may enroll in the courses that are currently open.
3. I am only interested in taking a couple of courses. Can I enroll in only the courses I need?
Yes, you may enroll in individual courses or you may take them all to earn the Certificate.
4. When I complete this program, will I be LEED certified?
You will not be LEED certified when you complete the UCR Extension Certificate. The LEED Professional Accreditation program is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). The UCR Extension Certificate focuses on the broader issues of sustainability and green design. LEED building guidelines are discussed throughout the curriculum.
